windy city grille's history
The humble beginning started in a small restaurant situated on an unnoticed location. Over time a small crowd began to organize and fill the small 15 person seating area. The small car-filled parking lot began to spark interest with the occasional passer-by. It soon became obvious that the ambiance was not drawing the consistent crowds of people day in and day out. It was clearly the genuine food, prepared by genuine people. This combination was so magnetic that William Karadchy, only 12 years old at the time, was inspired to master this magical amalgamation.
For the next 10 years William worked closely with his mother to understand how to prepare the perfect cuisine. He also watched his father forge strong relationships with his friends and family. In 2005 father Hani and mother Basma retired after 20 years of providing happiness in their friends' lives. William, now filled with inspiration, is extending the tradition with the biggest Windy City Grille located inside Bayberry Plaza in Wyoming, MI.
